If Obama says we need another “stimulus” then all Democrat voters will look into it with a very critical eye. After skeptically and thoroughly looking into every angle of this all Democrats will coincidentally have the identical opinion of Obama.
Only a fraction of the money has been spent so far. Surely you don’t insist Obama becomes a project foreman and personally is responsible for breaking ground on every project.

Zen what i was saying was when Obama selling the stimulus he claimed the jobs were ready to go they just needed the funding they must not have been so ready.
Tom, I understood what you were implying. I think that criticism is a bit premature. Again, only a fraction of the money has been moving, so until it does those projects will not start. Perhaps you could look to see what’s holding up those projects, rather than knee-jerking. I’m sure you can find many more legitimate criticisms if you try.
Fulk i will be glad to answer that question for you as soon as you answer the many questions i have asked you, that you have never answered. Don’t you think that is fair ?
Zen i am a Republican and i know that most things in life are not fair but i really would like for things to be. Whats wrong with that ? Megan i am starting to think you are right about Fulk. However we must all come together to fix the many problems we now have. The Democrats think the answer is to spend, spend, spend then when they look around and don’t have any money they will start raising taxes which hurts everyone. I think that long lasting job creation is the ONLY way to fix the economy because if people are working they will buy products and pay taxes if we can do this the economy will turn around. I was not a fan of Obama’s stimulus because i felt that the short term jobs that it might create would not fix the long term problem. In my opinion its better to give somebody a job that they can retire from than to extend unemployment benefits.
Why give the money to the banks, they need us to bay them. Why not give the 800 billion dollars to the people to pay bills and keep spending and creating jobs, then the companies and Banks who lay-off and fire us. We still have to pay them from what. And while a simple man as Iam keep thinking why can’t GM or anyother company fail noone is that great that they can’t start over or be dissloved. They gave GM the money, GM layed us off(22,000) and close nine plants in the USA. With Cadillac now being made in China, as well as Buick. Why not shut down some plants and lay-off those in China, no lets get us first
I’m sorry, but Larry, please dear God please, make just a bit more sense with what you’re trying to convey. You might well be making a good point, but you must do just a bit more in making it make sense.
Carol I am a Republican and i would love for you to explain to me why we need another stimulus package ? Fulk if you know Carol tell her im serious i would like to hear her/his reason for a second stimulus package.
Yes…we all know Mr Party hack has never derailed a discussion with his own unique brand of idiocy, now don’t we? tom, I’m not sure why you even bother. Fulk can’t answer the questions you raise; if you want his perspective, just go to the DNC website…its all one and the same.
Anon I understand your frustrations I have felt the same way many times. However this country is in to bad of shape to argue and name call. We need to look past our differences and work together for the good of our great country. I am a Republican and i always will be but no one party has all the right answers. So lets all try to do our best to improve things for the good of everyone.
Yeah, sounds good…I love a good fantasy myself. You see, Fulk isn’t interested in that whole “working together” thing. Oh, he’ll claim he is and offer various platitudes to that end, but at the end of the day he reverts back to simply regurgitating Party propaganda, as that is all he knows.
In other words, what you seek is just an exercise in futility, which is why you’d be better off just going to the DNC website or Mark Warner’s Senate page to get Lowell’s views on the issues.
You could be right im not saying you are wrong but im willing to try until im proved wrong. Fulk could have realized that the Democrats are not going to be able to fix the many problems we have without help from the Republicans. I myself have realized this after many years.
Actually it is, Zen. Tom’s comment earlier: “Fulk i will be glad to answer that question for you as soon as you answer the many questions i have asked you, that you have never answered. Don’t you think that is fair ?”

Not like anyone here cares, but Obama actually doesn’t recommend a second stimulus.
Zen you are right Obama claims the first stimulus package has not had time work yet. What happened to all of the shovel ready projects ?
Only a fraction of the money has been spent so far. Surely you don’t insist Obama becomes a project foreman and personally is responsible for breaking ground on every project.

Tom,
This isn’t a trick question and I’m not trying to be mean or a smart alec, but what do you do for a living?
Fulk i will be glad to answer that question for you as soon as you answer the many questions i have asked you, that you have never answered. Don’t you think that is fair ?
Tom, Where do you get the silly notion that things in life are fair?
And why would you expect Lowell to agree with your idea of fair?

Tom> Your party identity is irrelevant, or should be. I agree that an equitable future is worth working toward.
If you think we don’t need another stimulus package then you must be making a lot of money, maybe in your basement. But then again, your republican.
Carol Why do you think we need another stimulus package ?

I do think it would be a good discussion to have. Hopefully without the trolls who say “douchebag” attempting to derail the conversation.

I have never called anyone a douchebag. Party hacks is about as far as i have gone. Which i admit was not nice or productive to any discussion.

This isn’t about Lowell Fulk. Your strange obsession is a distraction…and frankly, it’s creepy.
